Fine Screened Topsoil

This screened topsoil has been screened to 25mm* and can be used for preparation of lawns.

Screened topsoil should be laied no deeper than 150 mm as the soil can compress and cause drainage problems.

*Screened Topsoil has been processed to remove any larger pieces of extraneous material. However, a certain quantity of smaller particles will remain and should generally be expected. It is recommended that Fine Screened Topsoil is not applied to depths greater than 150mm (6") as it will compact, and that a proportion of organic matter such as peat or compost is added to all soils (except when used for a lawn).
