Winter fuel for fires and stoves

Keep toasty warm in front of your fire this winter with our range of solid fuels including logs, house coal and smokeless fuels.

Smokeless Fuels

Our range of smokeless fuel includes Homefire Ovals, Coalite and Anthracite; all of which have been authorised for smokeless areas (see note below).

Coal

House coal doubles (small pieces, ideal for evening fires) and trebles (larger pieces, longer lasting) are available from our Feltham garden centre. House coal is not authorised for use in smoke control zones (please see note below).

Logs

Softwood logs are available for collection either by the bag or loose from our Feltham branch; or we can deliver logs by the bulk bag.

Bagged kiln dried hardwood logs are available from our Sheen branch only.

Kindling & Firelighters

We stock kindling, firelighters and matches; everything you need to get your fire ready and roaring!

We also stock Calor gas for gas fires.

Please note:

Most of London has been designated a "smoke control area" by local government authorities which means that only authorised fuel is allowed to be burnt. For more information please visit the DEFRA website http://smokecontrol.defra.gov.uk/locations.php.

Although we strive to always have good stock of all types of fuel over the winter months, please ring before making a special trip.
